The Open Journal of Bioresources (OJB) features peer-reviewed short papers helping researchers to locate and cite bioresources with high reuse potential.
Making bioresources more openly discoverable has enormous benefits not only for the research community and the wider public, but for the producers of the bioresources as well. Both the resources and the OJB papers are citable and this will be tracked to provide authors with metrics on reuse and impact.
With an aim to making the Open Journal of Bioresources financially sustainable, we have raised our Article Processing Charges (APCs) to reflect the costs of publishing the important articles you’ll find here. To establish trust with authors, institutions and funders, we provide a transparent breakdown of how the APC is calculated:
Ubiquity Press provides a lower-cost alternative for authors, funders and universities, and means that library and research budgets can go further. Our fees are fully transparent, and you can trust us that every penny goes towards providing a high quality, sustainable publishing service, and not towards sky-high publisher profits.
